Dry, fruity and complex, with lovely colour and clarity. At 9.2% this will bear maturing for a long time.

This beer started off as a Dubbel, but the fermentation kept going and going, finally ending up at an incredible 1.000. This makes it very dry, though the rich fruitiness of the style balances that out. Due to the high strength, and relatively light colour for a Dubbel, I’ve called it a Tripel, though to be honest it’s probably somewhere in between. Either way, it tastes and looks good, and should mature well.
